Will the 7 bonus tracks ever be available in FLAC digital download, not just highly-compressed mp3s? Metallica and many other bands offer their fans the CHOICE. I hope so. Cuz the bonus tracks sound 'weak' compared to the original CD music.

I preordered and received the itunes version of Leave this Town and I loovvveeee it! But I have also been following the youtube videos and am absolutely in love with "Long Way". Does anyone no if there is any way that I can get that song, and the other exclusive tracks not on the itunes deluxe order, without purchasing the entire album again,.

to the person who just said to mary heather and...who calls her self voiceofreason: I don't want to sound like I don't support Daughtry here , but I have to say, I kind of agree with you- Do you want to tell me that "someone" didn't know that the "deluxe" would cost 28.00 with shipping and handling and would be the only way we could buy the song "long way" that we have been enjoying for a year now? All I wan't to say is that I just came from Newbury Comics and bought Rob Thomas' new album with 14 new songs on it for $10.88. Ok, he's probably got more songs written that he didn't put on the album , but my guess is that Rob will do us a favor and save them for the next album where they can be purchased by all.

anyone else who replied to ChrisDfieds post and any other person who is annoyed with the albums. First of all this is still a free country FOR NOW. And everyone has a right to their opinion. I for one have the same opinion as ChrisDfied. I was highly annoyed when I got word of the 6 or 7 different versions of the cd. In 2006 there were what 2 maybe 3 different versions. Now they are offering 6-7 versions. So how can you even compare the two different albums? How can you be so naive enough to think that RCA/Daughtry did this "for the fans"? Reality is its for the money/album sales. I am sure everyone is aware that RCA wants to make money. And the more money RCA makes the more money Daughtry makes. And I agree that it is greed. Now I understand you can get the tracks individually, but that doesnt change the fact that they are still trying to boost album sales and take even more money from people that I am sure need it more then them. Good for those who can afford to pay $100 or so to buy all the different versions and help pay Daughtry's bills. But I am raising a family in this economy and have to worry about my own bills before I help to pay theirs. And yes its everyone's choice on whether to purchase all the different albums or not. But as I said its the fact that they are even offering this many that makes me sick. It is plain and simple greed. Thats the reality of it all. And for those of you who are talking about truly knowing Chris and if you knew him you would trust him. For those comments I can just laugh. No fan truly knows Chris unless you are family or friend outside of his career. You all know the entertainer and that is all. In my opinion the only ones being disrespectful are the ones calling names. ChrisDfied simply said it was greedy. Which it is. That is not name calling. It is simply an opinion. And as far as I have read on here there are several others that feel the same. Good for everyone here who can afford all the money for all the cds, and for those who can spend hundreds even thousands on concerts every year. If its your prerogative to spend that kind of money to follow Daughtry and maybe get a second of his attention then have at it. I for one simply enjoy the music and would love to enjoy all the music without having to break my piggy bank so I can fill theirs. Maybe thats greedy of me. But as far as I can tell no one in the band is hurting for money. But as they say, the rich just get richer. The more they get the more they want.
So to end my first post on here, just let me say... everyone has complaints about things and opinions about things. The immaturity is coming from those that cant respect other peoples opinions/complaints. For those that are "hurt" that people are complaining, all I can say is "The truth hurts"

Already preordered RxB, got Uplifter, and need to preorder Ursa Major whenever I find out when that goes up for preorder as well.

Walmart was going to have "GET ME THROUGH" but it's there for the listening on amazon! So I guess those of us who ordered through them will get 13 songs. Their site also says the cd will be available July 13- anyone know if this is just a typo?

and I like all the songs but "OPEN UP YOUR EYES" and "SEPTEMBER" gave me chills. I also REALLY REALLY like "CALL YOUR NAME"

Any chance the "No Surprise" video will be allowed on blip.fm? I'd love to have it..

I am sooo excited and ready to get everything I can. I am listening to first cd right now and the songs from when Chris did Idol and his Absent Element ways and it's still special. It's been awhile since I've sat here and listened strictly to this on my computer. Still in love with every song that's on here and will always appreciate it and listen to it in the future even after the new one gets here.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!! OMG!! This is so awesome and the only positive thing going on in my life right now.

It makes no sense to me how a fan could not care enough for Chris or not know him well enough to trust him. Then to go as far as to call him names, that is beyond my comprehension.

Do you work? Does your employer offer different opportunities to people? I work in education in a division that offers a variety of programs for kids. Sometimes it is hard to decide which program to choose, but kids try to make informed decisions based on what seems to be best for them. What if we stopped offering options because all those choices were confusing? Kids wanted all the opportunities at once, so they got angry with us. Would that make sense? Or should kids be happy that they actually do have choices, even if they can only choose one?

Do you get angry with your favorite restaurant because they charge for different entrees and you want to be able to get all the food all at once without paying extra?

Again ChrisDfied, your words hurt my heart. When I care for someone, I trust them or I never really cared at all.

In 2006 when there were still poor people and those who were on tight budgets or without work did you complain then too and vow not to purchase anything? Well, I guess you answered that question already didn't you? You didn't give a damn then there were people that might not have been able to afford different stops. At least not so much it stopped you from going ahead and making the purchases. So spare the tripe about the economic times demanding sacrifice. People are always hurting even in prosperity. The economy is being used as nothing more then either a) an excuse to gripe or b) because suddenly it's not financially convenient for you whereas it may have been in 2006.

The last album I bought 12 total including one digital, 4 regular copies, and 7 deluxe and spread the love around. 3 of these of course were for myself. And I know in time and everything I am going to do the same with this one. I am excited and have been looking forward to this day for a long time. With only 19 days left, it's going to be here before you know it and I am going to party and enjoy every second of it!!

I remember a time when people looked forward to a favorite band's album release because they were diehard fans of the music. Now times are difficult for many all around the World, yet bands are making multiple versions of a new CD in order to include various bonus tracks that did not make the cut. I realize that it's an opportunity to buy more of the music, but it's also not easy to make the choice of which to purchase. After all, many of us, including me have to make critical decisions because of the economical crisis.
Sure, there are many Daughtry fans that don't have to watch their budget, but there are many more that do. I guess I have made my decision all ready. My budget comes first, Daughtry comes second. i have 4 copies of the first album, so what the heck, might as well have 4 of the second. not like it's a waste of anything, money well spent and music well enjoyed. i will support you fellas anyway that i can. only question is the deluxe edition with the poster... is that to be purchased here through your store??? i am thinking yes but just making sure. anyone have the answer.... thank you and july 14th cannot get here fast enough. :):)

I woke up this morning to a wonderful surprise - Canada will get both the Standard & Deluxe versions of the cd (although it is not clear whether the deluxe will be available ONLY on iTunes and not in stores) .......... so happy WOOOOOHOOOO - this along with the availability of other bonus tracks as per Ed (thank you Ed) has solved my personal problem of paying almost double because of shipping costs to get everything! Sooooooooo, my one day of "what-am-I-gonna-do?" has gone POOF!
